A Different Way In: How I Practice Medicine- and Who It’s For

Many of the people who find their way to my practice aren’t confused about health. They’re overwhelmed by it.

They’ve done the labs. They’ve tried the supplements. They’ve followed the diets, listened to the podcasts, and done what they were told was right. On paper, things often look normal. And yet, something still feels off.

They’re tired not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. They feel like their body is speaking, but no one is really listening.

This is usually where our work begins.

I don’t see the body as broken

I practice naturopathic medicine from a vitalistic perspective, meaning I view the body as intelligent, adaptive, and always working toward balance.

Symptoms are not enemies to suppress. They are communication.

Fatigue, digestive issues, hormonal shifts, anxiety, skin changes, and pain are not random malfunctions. They are signals. My role is not to silence them, but to understand what they’re pointing to.

Rather than asking what drug or supplement matches this diagnosis, I ask what pattern is emerging here.

That distinction changes everything.

This is not rushed care and it’s not aggressive care

I work slowly and precisely, not because we’re dragging our feet, but because the body deserves accuracy.

We take time to understand your full health story, not just the current complaint. We look at the nervous system and stress physiology. We explore digestion, metabolism, immune patterns, and hormones. We pay attention to where your body is compensating and where it’s asking for support.

When testing is appropriate, it’s used intentionally. When botanicals or supplements are part of the plan, they’re chosen thoughtfully, often custom formulated, and always with a clear rationale.

There is no throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks here.

There is also no one size fits all protocol.

Healing is collaborative

I don’t see myself as an authority handing down answers. I see myself as a partner trained to listen deeply, connect patterns, and guide the process.

You will understand why we’re doing what we’re doing. You’ll be invited into your own awareness, not overwhelmed with information, but supported in building a relationship with your body that feels grounded and empowering.

This kind of care asks something of you, too. Curiosity. Patience. Willingness to participate in the process.

It’s for people who are ready to slow down enough to listen.

Who this work is for

This practice tends to resonate with people who are thoughtful, reflective, and invested in their long term health. People who are willing to explore root causes rather than chase quick fixes. People who want care that feels personal, intentional, and respectful of their complexity.

It may not be the right fit for those looking for a single visit solution, a supplement list without context, or someone to override the body’s signals rather than understand them.

That clarity matters to me.

An invitation

If you’ve been searching for care that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and rooted in both science and intuition, you may be in the right place.

This work is about listening carefully, moving deliberately, and creating space for the body to do what it knows how to do.

When you’re ready, I’d be honored to work together.
